Hi All,

There is a Guitar show in Farmington Connecticut. It is about 2 1/2 hours from NYC.

John Osthoff, Burton Legeyt, Laurent Brondel, and myself and others will be going. It is in a hotel, and there will be about forty booths. You may still be able to get one. It looks to be a great show.

Thanks,
Brad

Yup! This will be my first show so I am excited and nervous. It is also the first guitar show at this venue and for the organizer. It seems to be well put together so far and people I know from the area have heard about it and not just from me. It is not just acoustic based which may bring in more people. I think it is a good place for a guitar show, I have sold many guitars top people around Hartford (I grew up very close) and the demographic is pretty perfect for this kind of show.

Todd Rose, Sylvan, and Tom Bazzolo will also be there as will Dale from Fairbanks guitars (not a member here I don't think but I have seen and admired a few of his guitars). It will be great to see everyone. If any of you are thinking about coming (or exhibiting) please stop by and say hi.

Great to see someone doing something local. I'm gonna try to stop by but may be out of town for that weekend. I wish I heard about it sooner.

Thanks for saying that Brad! Are you going to have any of your gambler-style guitars there? I would love to see one.

I have been working on this one guitar I plan on bringing and finally put my head down and jewelled the backplate on the mill. It was tedious work, more in the getting up to speed phase than the actual work. It came out good, here is a quick shot:

Rob, I hope you are around.

Burton,
See, Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!!!

That is really nice.

Yes, I will be bringing a"Gambler" 12 string and a Cuban/adi O and a quilted maple 16" archtop.

I have a feeling it's going to be a really great show.
