Post subject:  New Luthier Tips du Jour video - Monica Esparza
The newest Luthier Tips du Jour instructional video is on Youtube. The topic is meet the maker, an interview with Spanish guitar maker Monica Esparza. Subtitles are available in both English and Portuguese and you can translate them into any other language by using the CC option on Youtube.
As always, comments and discussion are welcome.

Very nice! I was lucky enough to have Monica at my house 2 years ago and a guitar gathering that I host in the fall. What a kind and gracious person she in addition to being a wonderful builder.

Monica builds some very nice instruments. She is also a member of the Stringed instrument makers in Southern California (Simscal). Monica is very nice and a very talented luthier.

I had the chance to meet Monica during the vihuela making course two summers ago with José Luis Romanillos. She's a very nice person and excellent maker.

You posted on Delcamp about your Brazilian guitar video. Did you ever show that here? I particularly enjoyed it, and meant to say so when I saw it there.

Robbie,
Your videos convinced me that I could build guitars and inspired me to take the plunge. I started my first build with only your videos and a few others on Youtube for instruction. My first build was a train wreck. Now I am on my second build and this site along with your videos make sense; when I have questions I now have some place to turn to and get them answered. So I thank you for giving me a push in the right direction.
