My daughter's music teacher has a pre-war (1930s Martin 000-18 that needs a neck reset. If it were mine, I'd tackle it myself, but it's not, and it's clearly a very valuable guitar. Who would you recommend to do a reset, the RIGHT WAY, in the general area of Westchester County, New York. Thanks! |

There should be several options in the city. Mandolin Brothers is where I would start. They've seen a fair number of old Martins over the last 40 years. |

Corky, Send it (or bring it up to) Steve Kovacik near here in Schenectady. I trust him with my own Martins. 518-381-3958 |

I know Evan and Steve , Kovacik is an authorized Martin center. Not sure if Evan is but both guys are more than qualified. |

I may be out of date on this, but I believe Roger Sadowski is still in New York and still offers repairs? He'd be my recommendation. |
