Post subject:  Proper fret wire for my blade

I have a new blade for my saw and I checked the slots with a feeler gauge and the are .0024 to .0025 the blade is .0023 but I am assuming I am getting a little runout. What would be the proper width tang for this size fret slot. I have Don Erlewines book and read the part on fretting but he mostly talks about refretting so the slot walls may already be compressed. I contacted Jescar and got some samples of wire that has different tang widths. I guess they picked up the sizes that Martin used to offer. There is alot more to this than I realized of how repairmen could put backbow in a non-adjustable neck by refretting with wider frets tangs. Thanks in advance for you insights-Bill
