I've been wondering this for a while -- when it comes time to finish the guitar, what kind of steps do you guys take to protect the body finish from the neck finish and the neck from the body? Or is it a simple, finish while they are still separate? Thanks. |

I build steel strings and finish the body and neck separately. Waterborne laquer for the body and Waterlox oil for the neck with the headstock veneer French Polish. |
