I have a customer who I've been talking with for quite sometime. He's an old-timer who has been schooling me in the art of traditional jazz and archtop guitars. He's not a builder, but a player with one hell of a collection. I mentioned D'Aquisto in passing and talked about how I always wanted to see one in person... turns out he had not one but TWO made for him in the 70's! He brought them out to me to sit with an play! I never thought I'd see one outside of a display let alone play TWO of them!

Needless to say I am even more geeked to build my first archtop!
These guitars are just flawless works of art. I need to hone my skills quite a bit, but I am putting a lot of effort into the research and eventual build of one of these beauties.
