Somewhere along the line, I needed a quick guitar pattern for something. So I freehanded it, used it and threw it in the scrap bin.
It rose to the top of the pile at some point and I decided I liked it.
The white spruce top was a quick build to be used for a chladni pattern demonstration for some high school physics kids. Then I found a piece of Padauk at a local lumber yard that I couldn't refuse.
Thus, the modern Terz guitar has been born. Everything so far has been pretty non-remarkable other than the fact that all tools are working properly, all molds, bending blanket and binding machine all performed flawlessley and the binding went on without a single swear word being uttered (other than when I superglued the top to the workbench but that was quickly remedied without major catastrophe.)
The laminated neck block is already glued up from the same chunk of padauk.
