For those of you who are using a scale for weighing various smaller components for guitar building (braces, bridges, etc.), can anyone recommend a good scale? OR give general tips for buying one?

TIA,

Here's what I use, an Ohaus 750-SO. It's not digital but it's accurate to 1/10th gram and never needs batteries.

If you are want a low cost option, Harbour Freight has a digital scale that has 1/10 gram resolution that is handy. Has a tare function and works nice for mixing epoxy at the right ratios, weighing bridges, etc.

I bought one on eBay a couple of years ago that looks a lot like this one

No complaints so far

+1. Additionally, I can tell you that none of the digital kitchen scales I've seen go to a 1/10th gram, they only measure to the nearest gram.

I went with a Polder Kitchen scale... it might be useful to be able to weigh a complete guitar (up to 3k).

Thanks, guys!

That digital scale looks good......but this is the one I have. It has a built-in cover that protects it. On sale for $14 right now.
