hello, sorry for the very much question, but I know you are all a generousity... thank for you all and this forum, a little question: Can I Use conventional HIDE GLUE for all part guitar building: classical and electrical... because I cannot buy titebond here... thank's alot.. ![]() |

yeah.. Steve, hot hide glue... from granules, and I just add water and soak to 1 hour then heat up with warmer.. and ready to use... ![]() |

Herry, I am not sure if you are already aware, but Titebond is just a brand name for an alpatic resin glue - which available almost anywhere even Java I suspect. Either way hide glue is better and cheaper if you are already used to it! Best, |

There's no titebond in my shop. I used to use Epoxy to glue fingerboards on , but now I use hot hide glue for everything. FWIW, I'm not saying titebond is a bad glue. I know that hot hide glue works for me. It's always fresh because I know when I mixed it. |
