I bought some button lac from Shellac.net. Just be aware that any order above £20? is likely to incur the usual import/Vat/handling charge. Kremer Pigmente have stick-lac.
Behlen.co.uk have it in stock at a pricey £24 for 454g.
There's nothing special about the application of seedlac, other than you will be dealing with a coloured shellac. Not really a problem with dark woods but more challenging on lighter coloured woods.

Kusmi Seedlac is raw shellac, full of wax and bugs and bits of the branches the bugs were on.
You can filter and decant all the wax and bits out of it, and it is the lightest color, only bleached blonde shellac is lighter.

I think the "raw-ness" of Kusmi seedlac makes it the superior finish.

See if Wood Finishing Enterprises will ship to UK.

Try Hammerl in Germany - they are the best, period.

Just for info, in the US, Shellac.net has a decent sale on Kusmi Seedlac.
