I just got the wood I ordered from espen.de (had it shipped straight to Taiwan rather than having to carry it, a wise decision), I got 4 German spruce tops, 2 A and 2 AA. I tapped all of them as any good luthier would, and guess what, they ALL sound different! Now I realized the value of an instrument built by a luthier and why people would be willing to pay for them. |

make sure to tap the same wood, once it's glued to something else, or built into a guitar box as well. |
