Post subject:  saddle compensation

Hey guys, I use a saddlematic to locate my bridge, but was wondering if anyone knew of something I could read on truly compensating the saddle? Like why are most slopped differently for the b string, etc? According to the saddlematic directions its compensated if you just use the device correctly. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you're thinking about the saddle, have a think about the nut whilst you're at it.
