A few weeks ago, I had some problems with finish adhesion on my current build (http://luthiersforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10101&t=33248&st=0&sk=t&sd=a). I'm back in the shop this week, and I'm about to strip the back/sides and do it over. Apparently, the nitro I use does not adhere well to bare EIRW, but it adheres to the epoxy filler. What options do I have when it comes to sealing? Should I leave a film of epoxy filler as sealer, or should I use something else? Thanks, Sondre |
