I just tried to go to the website bridgebonebeads.com to purchase Rubner tuners, and I got a weird index and something about a server being hacked. Does anyone know what is up, and has anyone ordered tuners from them recently? Wendy

I see them listed by other vendors.

I have a few sets of the ones with the Teflon bushings, and might be willing to sell a set or two. I got them directly from Rubner. You can order direct from them, but it probably isn't worth it unless you order more than one or two sets. I think I bought 4 sets. I'm not currently using them on my builds, though there is nothing mechanically wrong with them. The ones I have are sort of middle of the road price wise. PM me if you are interested, and I can send you a couple of pictures.

Yes, and they are 15:1 instead of 16:1. I never thought it'd make a difference, but it does. Now I only use Sloane's or Gotoh Premiums. I'm considering trying the Gotoh Professionals, but I'm not crazy about all the engraved salad on the plates. I wish they'd make a plain tuner with no engraving. I like plain, or tastefully engraved with simple designs. Gilbert's are good too, but the industrial look isn't appreciated in the market so much.

Wendy, I sent an email to Kent George, the guy importing Rubner. He said their host is having problems (thousands of websites affected) and waiting for the it to solve. The address is kentlgeorge ... msn

Hey, thanks for all the answers. I don't need any tuners at this time, I was just looking and ran into the problem with the website. They seem to be back up now. I appreciate the offer to sell yours Waddy, but not in need right now, and thanks for the link Douglas. I wish I could afford the high end tuners, but for my budget and my early level of guitars, I think the Rubners are a good choice.
