Not planning on doing this for at least 2 months. But now would be a good time to start figuring out if there is any interest. And how much of it there is. I did contact Kevin, he is OK with it. I have not negotiated a price yet, but it will be something close to what we did before (price based on 100 count price). Of course, we have to get over a hundred count. We had NO problem doing that last time. We boughts hundreds of pieces. I also learned a lot of lessons, so it should go much smoother on my end.

So, If you believe you will be interested, then post below and give a count estimate. No "kinds" please. Just your name and count.

When I do decide to go ahead, I will ask for PMs. I will not sort through this thread to figure anything more out.

Thanks!

Mike

Mike - I am definitely interested, but I have a question before committing to a number. Do the price breaks apply to the total number purchased, regardless of "kind" or size, or only to the number of a given kind or size? Assuming the former, I would like 10 please. :D

Thanks very much for organizing this! [:Y:]

Hard to believe, But I cannot remember the price. Seems it was like $19?? Somebody remember? The price is what it is. Not based on kind or number you choose. I will negotiate a price with Kevin and it will look like a general 100 pc count price. Since there are variations in this price based on type or kind, that price tends to drift to the high end of what he offers. None the less, do the math. You cannot do better on your own unless (maybe) you buy 100 of ONE TYPE.

The negotiated price will be what you pay per piece, regardles of kind. You could get 10 kinds and only 10 pieces and it will all be the same price. Kevin does ask for one thing in return... your email address for his own personal use (business).

Seems last time we were in the several of hundreds. This will make it easier for me to negotiate a price. Also, knowing demand up front helps. My guess is we will place order in June. So, lets see what we can do. Let your friends at other well known sites know about it. They must be OLF members to purchase (have a user name here). That is my requirement. I do not care if they are new members as long as their funds are green. Of course, you can purchase for them if you wanna take that load on... but shipping costs will accumulate.

Disclaimer: I get nothing out of this deal other than the same price you all get. Also, this deal has nothing to do with Lance or Brock or the OLF. It is soley on my shoulders. Last time, our order was over $8K. And to my knowledge no one was dissapointed.

International orders are accepted happily, but higher shipping and paypal charges will acrue.

For those of you not specifying an amount, please correct your posts. You will not be held to this. but I need an estimate.

Thanks guys,

Mike

Mike,
I'll be in for between 12-20 pieces. Here was your cost email from last time:

========================================================
Michael O'Melia
3202 Dry Stone Cir
Hampton Cove, AL 35763
USA

Remember, PayPal + 3% (if using PayPal)
The only other acceptable means of payment is Cahsier's Check or Postal Money Order.

Total is number of peices X $19.64 + 3%

Shipping will be assessed when I am ready to ship. I will do all I can to minimize this expense, but once I have, please send that payment quickly and I will ship it off.

Thanks!

Mike

Mike, I would like 5 pieces. How long is a piece and how many will it take to do a one ring rosette?
Thanks,
Rusty

Each strip is 15 inches long. For a wood ring rosette lined with zipflex on both sides, it should only take 2 strips. If it is a single ring of shell, may only need 1.

I don't know! That depends on what you mean. Rosettes only? One ring? Two? Body purfling? The strips are 15" long (noted correctly above). Figure 1.5 strips per ring as a very GENERAL rule. Your design and dreams determine it all.

In another thread, someone start posting pics from our last buy in finished form.

I am impressed with all of the interest so far!

Mike
