All I have on hand is Behlens HHG. It has a gram strength of 164. Works great for braces, fretboards, and closing the box, but is it OK for a bridge? I have read where others use HHG with gram strengths around 200 and more for bridges.

Thanks, Chuck

Thanks Todd, just wanted to be sure, I've been wanting to get some 192 gram strength for bridges, not sure if I'm quick enough for the 315.

Behlen can be all over the charts in terms of strength according to tests by Bjorn Industries. Stewmac says theirs is ~256. All work fine.

I glued one on about 2 weeks ago using Behlins. I have no idea what the strength of it is but it's holding fine so far. I just heated a little with a heat gun and did a quick but practiced clamping. So far, I don't see any reason do more in the future.
