Does anybody know who sells the double sided radius dishes? Also, what would be a good alternative for go bars?
Thanks.

Stewmac and luthiers mercantile sell the radius dishes. Alternatively, you can make some, which will save you a lot of money.

An alternative to just the go bars, or the whole deck in general?

If you have access to a table saw, rip some strips of wood about an inch wide, and about a quarter thick. I used pine and oak for mine. The nice thing is they are easily replaceable if they break.

Shane at High Mountain Tonewoods makes the double sided radius dishes (see sponsor banner above).

Maple, poplar, just about any north american hardwood make for great go-bars. 3/4x1/4 is plenty.

I use the "Reflective Staff/Staves" from Lowes as my go-bars. They come in 48" sections. I cut them to size, seal the ends and they work great.

Goodwinds has a great price on Fiberglass rods (and CF). They also sell the vinyl caps.

Hey, Todd, not to highjack the thread here, but why not take two radius dishes and glue them up back-to-back? It would save some storage space. Seems to me that anyone making dishes of any radius could do them in double sided combinations just by gluing them back to back.

I do understand your point about dishing out two sides of a single piece of material--potential for resulting distortion, and so forth.
