Does anybody know who sells the double sided radius dishes? Also, what would be a good alternative for go bars? Thanks. |

Stewmac and luthiers mercantile sell the radius dishes. Alternatively, you can make some, which will save you a lot of money. An alternative to just the go bars, or the whole deck in general? |

If you have access to a table saw, rip some strips of wood about an inch wide, and about a quarter thick. I used pine and oak for mine. The nice thing is they are easily replaceable if they break. |

Shane at High Mountain Tonewoods makes the double sided radius dishes (see sponsor banner above). Maple, poplar, just about any north american hardwood make for great go-bars. 3/4x1/4 is plenty. |

I use the "Reflective Staff/Staves" from Lowes as my go-bars. They come in 48" sections. I cut them to size, seal the ends and they work great. http://www.lowes.com/pd_222125-37672-848638_0__?productId=3025196&Ntt=reflector&pl=1¤tURL=%2Fpl__0__s%3FNtt%3Dreflector%26page%3D2&facetInfo= |

Goodwinds has a great price on Fiberglass rods (and CF). They also sell the vinyl caps. http://www.goodwinds.com/goodwinds/merch/list.shtml?cat=specials |

Hey, Todd, not to highjack the thread here, but why not take two radius dishes and glue them up back-to-back? It would save some storage space. Seems to me that anyone making dishes of any radius could do them in double sided combinations just by gluing them back to back. I do understand your point about dishing out two sides of a single piece of material--potential for resulting distortion, and so forth. Patrick |
