Post subject:  A Question about Bending With SuperSoft II

Let's say I've sprayed SuperSoft on some sides (or bindings) and have let them sit overnight. When I go to bend them the following day, is it necessary to rewet them with more SuperSoft or water?

I dampen with water the same as when I bend without using it. I have only used it on Bubinga 2 times and Ebony binding 5 times so I am not an expert on its use.

Related Newbie question... I have been considering trying this on a set of bubinga sides i'm but not clear on how to apply it. Do you just spray the SSII or soak the wood in it? Since it is designed for vaneer does it penetrate the wood far enough with just a spray or do you need to soak it for a while? Does it raise the grain?

Thanks,
Carl.

Thank you Fred and Todd. I bent some ebony bindings following those instructions and they came out great!
