hello friends
please can tell me
can i use spanish cedar of necks for bracing engleman spruce and indian rosewood backs???
i have many extra cut pcs of spanish cedar. how it will help in voicing?

You can use spanish cedar for the cross bracing and transverse braces applied to the indian rosewood back. I would use either euro or englemann spruce on a spruce top classical gtr. hope this helps.

Spanish Cedar works well for cross bracing a back only but does not have alot of affect on voicing other than reducing the weight of the back braces. Because the back acts more as a reflector of sound than a resonator it affects the overall sound of a guitar than the top.
