Weeeelll.... they are mostly done. I am waiting on a new nut for #5 as the last one broke on me. I also have to bring the saddle down quite a bit, but there is no rush, it's not going anywhere. I am fairly pleased with how they turned out. I am more disappointed in my carelessness. It seems that every guitar I build I end up nicking, scratching or stabbing it on accident. But overall, a step in the right direction, I definitely learned some stuff. If you want to see the build progress, you can visit my blog (url in my sig) On with the pictures! #4 OLF SJ Laurel B&S, Sitka SB, Maple Neck, Ebony trim. The headstock logo is the Japanese symbol for "Patience" as this is my second neck on this guitar. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() #5 OLF SJ Redheart B&S, Western RC SB, Spanish cedar/padauk neck, padauk and ebony trim. I guess i should have dusted it off before i took pictures... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Very nice, Marcus! I like the rosette and the diamond/circle detail on the back of #5. Well done! Alex |

Thanks guys! The finish on #4 is nitro and one #5 is shellac. Both necks are finished with Tru-Oil. |
