Post subject:  Where to put the battery pack

I'm installing a pickup and the instructions say to put the battery pack somewhere flat and out of sight.

Where do you guys usually put it?

It's a Shatten pickup I'm installing.

Thanks
Neil

I usually put them underneath the fingerboard. You can reach inside through the soundhole with a couple fingers and pull the battery out to change without even loosening the strings.

Battery box makes a neat and easy to change solution too, without having to loosen strings. Mine is near the tail block.

I do the same as Colin.
I get them from Stew-Mac.

I was curious if anyone maounted the battery pack near the tail block to help balance a neck heavy guitar. Maybe the batteries are light enough that this isn't an issue, not sure.
