Allrighty guys, here she is all done. like i said this is my first build. I had absoulutely ZERO previous experience with any type of wood working, besides like 7th grade wood shop from which i remember nothing from. I started from scrap, i had no idea what i was doing. ended up wasting a lot of wood due to the lack of experience and no tools. I didnt expect this one to even come out to sound like a guitar, this was just an attempt, but surprisingly it sounds pretty good i think. I have to agree there are many things on it that dont pass my expectations, but the reason for that being was the lack of tools and experience. if i screwd up on a part, i did some research, bought better tools, but that was AFTER the crew up lol, so now i have a whole room filled with tools (i live in an appartment for now) and a head with a lot more knowledge than when i started, and im expecting #2 to come out like gold! ![]() I'll try and get a soundclip tomorrow. Please comment, critique, tell me what you like, what you dont like, i wanna hear it all ![]() |

My workbench is set up in my hallway in front of my bathroom door, with tools almost literally piled on either side. Despite that I have managed to build two guitars so far. Yours looks great, keep it up. |

Yeah my son's room is literally packed with tools. its really uncomfortable and i hate it, i wanna move into something with at least a garage so that i can set up over there, it'd make everything so much easier and more enjoyable. i hate digging to the bottom of my tools for a needle file lol Matt Shumway wrote: Lavrov Guitars wrote: Allrighty guys, here she is all done. like i said this is my first build.
