Is that a right or left-handed model? If it is bi-handual, it might just be worth the $$$$.

That is impressive, but not nearly as cool as this mini plane:

Aaron

Yes, it actually flies . . . well, flew would be more accurate . . . at least it did for a little while. laughing6-hehe Engine failed at about 400 ft; totaled the plane, but the pilot managed to survive.

No idea how well it functions, but that's beautiful, Padma. Thanks for lifting my day.

Oh my Billy,

what a condemning statement!

It wouldn't be because your conscience may be afraid of your reputation if you were to be seen using such a plane now would it?

Don't know the maker...it don't look like his work.

Actually I think its oriental, or possibly European,
Not too many N.A.s into Ox bone or this type of design work.
but I will try and find out who made it.

This is Laaraman style

I've got a hunch--and it's nothing more than a hunch--that the original post showed a plane made by a Chinese craftsman. Why? Because the dragon motif in that particular artistic style just looks VERY Chinese to me. How old? No way to know. Actually made by a Chinese craftsman, or just another toolmaker who respects and honors the Chinese motifs? Once again, no way for me to tell for sure. But it's pretty, isn't it? Personally, I would be scared to use it, for fear of dinging it up. On the other hand, Padma, tools are meant to be used, aren't they? And I believe your personal spiritual philosophy is pretty centered on the transient nature of things. This is just a thing....no? It's an EXTRAORDINARY thing, for sure, but it's still just a thing. Then, of course, there's that pesky little detail of the seller's asking price. The seller might continue to own this thing for quite some time. It'll be fun to see how it all plays out.
