Router base? I'd be interested in seeing that. I intend to use it (them) in duplicators and pantograph machines. You could by 5 of these for one Souix. (sp?)

I had one and it crapped out out after a bit so I took it back. They are hit and miss. I just don't have the time to waste running back and forth exchanging them. Some have more runout then others and will spit out oil.
Mine also vibrated enough to loosen up the collet.
Good luck with yours, seems you found a good one(for now). Hope it last.
Here's a pic of mine in the ellipsograph . You can use it as a model for a plunge base. Just make the base a little larger.

I havn't use them on a few years. The run out on the shaft was often pretty sever . I found another brand.but this tool is can be very useful. The higher speeds that they run at will make a smoother cut and you will see they are lighter .
