Post subject:  cutting square string ramps?

I getting ready to cut some string ramps and want to cut square/flat rampsinstead of the round ramps I've done before. Any tips on cutting them would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I have done with a chisel. You should also build a piece like the one in the drawing and you should clamp it to the peghead with the parts A and B inside the slots. This will prevent the chisel to hit the lateral part of the slot.
If you have used veneer, the symmetry of the lines on both sides will guide you to make the same angle. The final steps are done with a file and some sandpaper glued to the some wood sticks.

Razor saw to cut the sides flush with the slot walls, chisel to remove most of the material, then flat file to finish.

Thanks guys, it went very well, much quicker than I had anticipated.
Antonio, the idea of filling the slot with some scrap as a chisel stop was brillant BTW.

Looks good, Jim. And I really like your chisel.
