I usually use a small gardening shovel and some fresh potting soil.

What size, where, and are you trying to hide(i assume you are)? I usually just try to cut them out- but I have seen some who like the look and try to emphasize. |

Using the cutoffs, make a pointy stick, put a dab of glue on the tip, shove it into the hole and snip it off with dikes. Sand level and viola! Filled hole. If it is small, you could try sanding dust and CA, but in lighter woods, that does not look so good. |

I don't mind small wormholes showing on sides or backs, I think it's part of the character of the wood. I usually fill them with black epoxy on dark woods, clear epoxy on lighter woods. |

These are small holes in the back of some black limba. They (4) are quite small, about a mm or 2... I thought of making some filler with some black limba dust and LMI white glue, then fill the holes and sand. I wasn't sure if that was the best method... |

or you can use shellac stick, and a burn in knife .. the shellac comes in a lutitus fo colours .. one of my students had to fill small wormholes in black limba, he used an dark amber stick to fill them. |
