I am looking for a relatively inexpensive case for a size 3, 11 1/4" lower bout. I've been unsuccessful so far and would rather not get a custom Ameritage for that particular guitar. Do you guys have any suggestion? |

Custom Cedar Creek? Cheaper than Ameritage, and not a bad case. |

Elderly lists a Canadian Parlor case. Check Baritone Uke cases. They are real good about answering email with specific dimensions. |

I think Harptone makes a standard parlor size case that is adequate for this size of guitar. |

I believe Harptone was bought out by TKL several years ago. They have (or had at the time) all the old molds and the Cedar Creek side of the house built these as custom units. I did get the old "O" size from them for my parlor model, but it is a wider bout guitar case than what Laurent needs. But do check with Cedar Creek as I vaguely recall Harptone did have cases listed for the old smaller Martin style(s). |

Well, you can see how long it's been since I bought anything from Harptone. I remember that nice elderly lady who used to answer the phone there.....what was her name..........? A collector friend of mine (with many old small Martins etc.) has a bunch of these little parlor cases that he uses for safe transport of stuff, pretty sure that is what they were. I've also found that the nifty gig bag that Martin makes for the LXM "Little" guitar will work for these older small guitars but they are not much protection. For storage around the house (kidless) though they are probably fine. |

Thanks guys, looks like an Ameritage is on the line. Waddy, builder's prices for Ameritage and Cedar Creek are about the same, lead time for Ameritage is shorter and quality a notch above IMHO. |
