Post subject:  Any Guitar Techs have a Tour Box I can see?
Just got a world tour gig and I don't have my tour box ( ATA flight rated tool box) anymore. I sold it when I got off the road and setup my shop.

The last box was a smaller 5 drawer cube box. I'm designing a new box with a flip top with built in electrical, tool space and work bench table and arm. Chair storage and all the rest...

Anyway, just wondering if anybody here has anything cool that i can source for visual inspiration as I'm in design mode now.

Hey all,

Since I've been gone I just thought it might be fun to share my box. I had it custom made and I've now toured the US, Canada, all of Europe and Scandinavia. With the grammies and New Zealand and Australia, US and EU festivals, Japan, and then starting the US all over again. Having this 550 lb portable home has been great.

I had the drawers custom sized and the work table heights made to my specs. It's so nice to have a "office home, complete with family pics" when I'm out of the shop and traveling. I'm writing a story about my work and tour life so I keeping my better pics for that (for now) but as soon as I lay that all out I'll put some more pics here.

It's amazing being the Guitar Tech for such a great group of guys (Bon Iver for those interested). While I miss my shop dearly, after each leg I return excited to work on the next guitar.

Very cool, love Bon Iver. Was just listening to him/them? today. Thanks for sharing. That must be an incredible experience.
