For those of you who are in Northern CA and are old-tool crazy. I have just listed an Emmert vise in the classifieds section. It is the very first version of the Emmert vise made and is in very nice shape. Very useful vise for lutherie, general wood working and uses you wouldn't imagine until you own one... It is also a pretty neat historical artifact. Not a piece of junk like most Emmerts you will find on eBay.. Only selling as I have another one.. Don't 'need' two of them (wife says).
