This is a very cool guitar with several interesting sound files:

Basically a harp guitar without the harp strings, lots of extra airspace in there and a lot of top.
Interesting way to do the sound holes. Very cool

That is pretty cool. I really like the stereo effect when recorded. I imagine that you can do something similar with a standard acoustic by close mic-ing. Might pick up a lot of noise that way though.

Not that I can play guitar much but it would be pretty cool to play one to hear that stereo enveloping thing in person.

This thread belongs in the elephantitis section. Actually I really like this. I thought about this for my next 8 string a while backj as my current one doesn't project the low notes well. People keep stealing my ideas, traveling back in time, and implementing them !

Very interesting!!
I do love innovation......as a player, I'm up for anything that alters or projects the sound differently from the traditional. I'm not sure this is going to fly....although a little more adaptation and a motor might get it off the ground.

I was actually considering a new classical build and attaching a tub and shower surround to bring out a little concert hall sound to guitar. :D Easier said than done....and would require a substantial custom case. It would probably sound more like a "Sarousaphone" . If you've never heard one....it does tend to sound like Leo Kottkes musical explanation of "goose farts on a foggy night"......and would need wheels!
