Not that long ago I seem to recall seeing on Clearvues site a separator that retrofit neatly into a Ridgid vacuum. I'm not talking about the add-on dust deputy, but something that left the vacuum more or less the same size. Does anyone a) know what I'm talking about b) know where to get one? Thanks |

Google thien baffle, then build one using a 5 gallon bucket. I use this as a pre-seperator before my Fein shop vac for sanding (but not with my big dust collector) The clearview product got discontinued after they got a cease and desist letter from Oneida's lawyers. you can still make one with the plans on ther site. Oneida makes a similar product called the dust deputy. costs about $100 -jd |
