I have been asked in the past who makes the big spiral flush trim bits I use in my router table for pattern work:

Originally made in Oakland CA as OCEMCO (Oakland Carbide), moved to Paso Robles and name changed to PR Carbide, and most recently sold to:

Great Lakes Custom Tool Mfg., Inc.
"Your Cutting Tool Partner"
101 N. Old Peshtigo Road
Peshtigo, WI 54157
Phone: (715)582-3884/800-873-4528
Fax: (715)582-4373
Web: www.glct.com

I can not answer to the quality of the tooling in it's newest incarnation, but so far the customer service has been very good.

Chase what operations do you perform with that bit? That's an awesome bit.

For example I cut neck blanks to shape on this pattern. I run the truss rod groove first and use it as reference on the neck blank with the spline. I cut the peghead to shape with a very similar type pattern.
