I’m wondering if CA stains Cedar the same way it stains spurce. I have assumed that it does, but that is an assumption. Thanks, John |

why not try it on some scrap and see? |

It does John.......seal all binding channels and rosette channels with shellac (qtip method). I keep a coat or 2 of shellac on the entire top also....you'd be surprised how easily that stuff gets a good bench rash. Hope u have a great new year!! |

Yes it does. Treat the same as spruce. |

Thanks guys. I have used titebond so I'm ok. I did that because I didn't have any shellac to seal with. Probably not the best reasoning for glue choice, but I'm glad I was careful. I'll add the seal with shellac step to future work. Thanks, John |
