Guess is about time I get in on some of this fun!

Ive been working on this Amazon Adi D14 for, oh, way to long. Its been the sole focus lately and im getting close.

These pics were taken a week back. I am currently adding bindings and purflings to the box with only the neck to finish. Which I plan on doing over my Christmas break.
The fretboard in the fullbody shot is NOT what I will be using, its just a place holder. The real fretboard is the bottom Pic.

Thanks for looking

Lance -

Looks great! That Amazon is really nice. Do you mind telling me where you got it? Thanks.

Thanks Corky, I picked that up at Todds place (Allied) back in 2007 while at the HGF.

Getting close on #6. Fine tuned the neck and heel, fretted, and glued the bridge this week.

I've been out scouting for wood again!

Found this giant piece of Honuran Mahogany!

And this really neat piece of black walnut, perfectly quartered and 4x4x42...can you say neck blank?

Finally finished my Curly Maple revised soundhole OM shape after agonizing the bridge clamping issue with the small center soundhole acccess. That could be full post in itself. Popped my e string during final adjustments yesterday. Dang! Does anyone just sell Martin FX 740 e strings??? That's twice that's happened to me.

Also ...Have 2.... L-OO's Cococolo (ebony binding) and Curly Koa (BWB Mango binding). Binding over the next 2 days.

Then...ready to start a Zircote 8 string classical.

Got a few client necks to design and carve up over the next few days before Xmas. I'll see if I have time and get permission to photo shoot the carving process and design. Sometimes clients don't want that info. sent to the masses.

Looks like dreads are back in fashion ;) Here's one I just started, with pernambuco back and sides, and Adirondack spruce top.

Last week I fished getting my rim together. Finally used the clamps I made from the 5’ of aluminum clamp material buy that went on a few years ago.

Got the linings installed. Sides sanded in the radius dishes and ready for the back and top.

I made a koa tile rosette with a herringbone ring.

This isn’t a great picture, but I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. Once it is leveled with the top I think it is going to look sweet.

I just need to get the bracing pattern marked on the back and then I’ll inlay the rosette.

i have been out in the shop a ton this week, but i think that the most notable thing is not the wood but the grub.

um... nothing...unless finish curing in my bedroom because it's too cold in the basement counts as something....

Filippo, that electric looks great. Really like it [:Y:]

I'm working on a Carpthatian/Osage Orange 12 fret D. It's going to have a Bloodwood fingerboard and bridge. I'm afraid it will break my camera to take pictures. (I can't convince myself to like the look)

Waiting for lacquer to cure on a Mahogany/Sitka dred while I begin an EIR/Cedar OM. Any suggestions on what binding would really pop on the EIR/Cedar? I'm thinking flame Koa, but not sure.

Great stuff going on. Shad, that chicken has me thinking about lunch!

Been chipping away at my daughter's koa 0-28-ish guitar, which I sneak in between commissions. I have her doing parts of it that she can be successful at. Got the neck fitted last night. Hoping to squeeze in an Ashbory bass with my son next.
