The wattage should be fine. They are about 2watts per square inch. My bending blanket is 2.5w/sq.in. and it works fine. I'm wondering about the voltage. I guess you could put 110 volts into it rather than 48volts. |

The ad is kind of ambiguous.It says it has two separate circuits of 79 ohms each.If you put 48 volts across each of those resistances you get about 4 watts per sq. in. |

2 1/2 watts is low for a heavy thermal load . This blanket if you turn 120 V to it you will fry it like a fish fillet . Also the blanket isn't rated to 300 degrees I don't think. |
