Post subject:  Wood selection help needed here

Hey guitar gurus,

I am getting ready for my next build ,but I am running into some issues with the wood selection. Ok first things first I am planning to do a similar shape and sound hole layout as this http://guitargal.com/sites/default/files/buclose2.jpg. The back and sides with be curly Koa. I am gonna try to do a double top with an armrest bevel. The visible top I am not sure on will maybe something like this http://luthierscooltools.com/Sinker_Gallery_Files/Sinker_OM5_High.jpg. As for the armrest bevel and remaining bindings I am planning on using macassar ebony, I think this will offer a nice contrast to the Koa and sinker redwood. I want to use black limba for the neck, hopefully the browns with mate nicely with the bindings. I am really not sure what I should use for the bridge and fingerboard. I plan on binding the fingerboard so I imagine something with some color contrast would be best, but I am not sure. Please offer me some suggestions or comments on my wood choices.

Thanks

Id use Mac Eb for the bridge, FB and HS too. Then bind the FB and HS with the Koa. Reverse of what the body would be.

No need for a double top with great straight grain redwood like that

hmmm this sounds really interesting, but I dont think I have ever seen that before. I wonder if it would make the neck look out of place.
