Does any know if the 1/4 to 1/8 collet supplied by Steward MacDonald will work in my Porter Cable 890 series router collar? I am about to do my first rosette and I just do not trust my RotoZip's unstable circle cutter. I guess I could look into making my own circle jig but then I start reaching the point of time and expense that could be used to purchase a Dremel. Any help or suggestions appreciated. |

They should work in any 1/4" collet but make very sure the bit is secured well! That extra layer of collet makes it that much easier for a bit to slip. |

I use one of those in a PC laminate trimmer with no problems. It is made of brass and in the larger collet of the PC890 you would want to be careful not to overtighten it, as it might deform. |

I use one in my PC310 all the time for rosettes. So far so good. |
