Just bought some brazilian Ebony for $15 / Bd Ft as opposed to $98 for the real thing.It's quite dark but I wonder if anyone has tried dying it as I've heard is done even with Gabbon Ebony? |

You talking brauna here? The color is pretty uniform, isn't it? |

It is in fact pretty uniform in color. I've not heard of Brauna. This wood is very hard and very heavy, a dark greyish color but not real black. Thanks out there. Jim |
