Yesterday at the Tony McManus guitar weekend I had the thrill of hearing Al play my new D, the sound is a little bad as there was lots going on around us while I was recording. Al and Tony have been great influences on my fingerstyle gritar playing and it was a real thrill to again spend a weekend with them.

I have been working on "The Crossing" for a while and watching him play it has inspired me to work harder to get it right.

I don't know if I'm the only one here who thinks that "Al Petteway" sure looks like Fred with a little hair color.

You sure your not scamming us Freddie?

Sounds great Fred! (btw, the resemblance is kind of uncanny)

I shave more often than Al, and he plays guitar way way better than I do. I wish when people like Al play my guitars they would leave at least a couple notes that I could use when I play. To anyone who has not heard Al and Ami play check them out, their skills are way beyond their level of fame.
