Greetings, I'm an up and coming Luthier with the thirst for knowledge. I've been building for almost two years and I'm currently lined up with commissions for this next year. My business is booming and I'm quickly finding I've hit a glass ceiling in my current knowledge and ability. Being a part of this forum will help greatly, but I'm in need of one or two established Luthiers that could help me excel with some constructive critiquing. I'm in an area (Flathead Valley - NW Montana) that doesn't really have a professional builder (to my knowledge) for me to visit in person with or show my work to. If you could spare a few email moments with me it would be great. Please check out my web page http://www.greatnorthernguitars.com. ![]() ![]() Thank you for your time, Jeremy Pappenfus Great Northern Guitar Company |

So what is it that you don't know? Sounds like you are doing ok to me. You could take a class with Robbie O'Brien in Denver or go to California and study with Brian Burns or Ervin Somogyi. There are few of us in Montana. |
