I glued in my the neck block, let it dry, and am now about to glue the end block on my steel string SJ. It is my first build and the sides are not bent perfectly, but they are pretty good. When I place my sides in the mold they are a tight fit at the end of the guitar, but I can squeeze them in if I loosen the mold and then put them in and then latch the mold again. When I coax the sides in like this, they naturally bend a little bit under the compression and look wonderful - they fit the lower-bout a bit more snuggly than before. MY QUESTION: Is there any problem with gluing the end block to the sides when they are under some compression like this? Thanks! Peter |

Thanks, Todd for the reply! I will loosen the fit just a tiny bit and go for it. Peter |
