I've used them on electrics in the past with no problems. I now use the allied rod on all my guitars because they are real light and won't rust. |

It's not made by Grizzly, it's made by Gotoh. It's a decent truss rod. Personally I like the Alied truss rods. |

I bought one and haven't used it. It is very heavy. |

Use Allied's. After I had to pull a "Hot Rod" cause it broke and I saw how much it rusted, I switched and haven't looked back. |

I stay away from anything that has the word "Grizzly" attached to it Anything I have ever bought from them in the past is inferior quality, horrible service, and back orders over 9 months old. Never again |

I bought a couple of the Gotoh "Martin Style" rods, but didn't like the weight, or how they adjusted. They kinda put a kink in the neck. I'm currently using real Martin double adjustable truss rod. It kinda disturbs me that Gotoh/Grizzly call something "Martin Style" that really isn't anything like the rod Martin uses. I am considering switching to LMI double adjustable rods, since they're made in the US. Does anyone know where Martins rods are made? I'd be perfectly happy using the old one way adjustable Martin rods, or even a compression rod, but alot of my clients seem to think they need a double adjustable rod. Added: 13BAR001 is the one I currently use. |

Martin uses a much better rod than Grizzly. I use them myself. |
