Greetings,

Does anyone have a source for quartersawn Ziricote. Looking for a piece that has the flecking like the one in the picture that I have attached. I found this picture on the Internet, but not referenced to any supplier. Has to be big enough for a classical back. I've seen some nice Ziricote, but none that has the flecking.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have found nice QS ziricote with ray fleck from several different suppliers - Gilmer, RC Tonewoods, and others. I think you just have to keep looking around until you find what you're looking for.

That's medullary rays and it's pretty common to see it in ziricote when quartersawn.
