I have been interested in building guitars for many years, and finally have worked up the courage to start making some expensive sawdust. My eleven year old daughter has been playing for a couple of years now, and my first build will be for her.
While surfing the web looking at jigs and YouTube videos, I came across olf member Todd Stock. We had a visit to Baltimore planned and I decided to give him a call. I spent an afternoon with Todd in his home workshop and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. He welcomed all of my questions and steered me in the right direction for information and supplies. He could not have been nicer.
I am still tooling/jigging up, but I plan to get started soon. I am looking forward to learning from you as well as sharing my successes and failures. Hopefully I will be able to offer some advice somewhere down the road, too.

Welcome and have fun Casey! It's great to have kids to practice on........... well, unless you're trying your hand at surgery or something. :)

Cheers,
Danny

Welcome, but a word of caution, this activity has been known to be addictive approach with caution and an open mind. Like the potato chip commercial it hard to build only one.
