There was just a discussion on bursting here: viewtopic.php?f=10101&t=29221 that has some good info. I've done two bursts using Target USL (same as stew macs) and it's not really rocket science. Stew mac has a DVD on bursting which is ok. There are two schools of thoughts for bursting - one is to use a strong color mix and do few coats, the other is to do a light color mix and build coats to add depth of color. Or something in between. Practice on scrap first. I have some stuff on my blog regarding bursting here: http://banduramaker.blogspot.com/2010/0 ... shing.html toward the end of the blog entry but remember that I'm not an expert. Good luck! |
