Time to put in a dust collecting cyclone system in my workshop. I have about 1000 square feet. Plan to deport dust from Bandsaw, table saw, radial arm, drum sander, planer, second bandsaw, drill press. and one or two other tools. I have been looking at the Penn State Industries 2.5HP Tempest system http://www.pennstateind.com/store/dust-collection.html My questions are... Has anyone had experience with this company? and should I go to the 3.5HP model or another brand altogether. thanks, Mike |

Judging by your square footage and number of runs you will probably want something bigger than 2.5 hp, it might get you by but bigger would be better of course. |

I'm happy with the 3.5 hp Penn State. For your space and tools, I recommend you go with 3.5 hp. |
