A friend of mine who makes wire wrap jewelry (see below) will be doing a tailpiece for my guitar. He'll be using a standard thin-body trapeze tailpiece from stew mac and working his magic with it. Also this past thursday I did my first inlay, a 50 crown coin from the Czech Republic, where I lived for a year. |

Routed the mortise and tenon joint for the neck today, as well as scraped/sanded the flamed maple binding flush with the top/sides. |

Oh yeah, I also strung it up for a test run before starting the finishing process. Too much fun. Nuages - Django Reinhardt. The first thing I played on my new guitar Sweet Georgia Brown > Limehouse Blues, w/ Django's 1937 solo from SGB. So What - Miles Davis Pardon all the mistakes, I was shaking with excitement. |

Thanks a lot, Beth. I've been having the time of my life with this build. Brad Nickerson is an exceptional teacher, and this guitar wouldn't be $&#@ without his guidance. I see myself doing this for a very long time. |
