Hi, folks, I'm setting up a parlor size guitar, steel string (light gauge, Martin MSP4050, .011-.052) with a 21 3/8" scale length. I was wondering what would be a good, average "middle of the road" action height for it. I know it is subjective, depending on playing styles and whatnot, but I'm pretty sure that 3/32" is too high for the scale length by any standard. Additionally, this one will be tuned to terz tuning. I'd appreciate any suggestions from those of you who have built/played this size guitar, especially with terz tuning. Brad |
