so what do you think? 20" in length. 15.5" lower bout. does it look different enough? or does it just look like every other "SJ" out there?

I like it. Very rounded, more like a classical than most steel string shapes. Not super unique, but doesn't bring any specific company to mind, so that's good :)

It is so difficult to tell, in two dimensions. When you add the sides, it changes the character of the shape when you aren't looking at it straight on.
Does look nice to my eye, though. Wide in the hips, delicate in the shoulders. A little more rounded than I usually go for, but a very pleasing shape.

Looks classical on top and SJ on bottom. Not my style, but it's about what you want, not us...

This is a 13 fret with a 20 5/8" body length.

hey thanks for all of the comments guys. always good to know what others think.

its interesting to me that a couple of you mentioned that it looked classical in some ways. i had never thought of that.

also a good point that a guitar looks different in three dimensions than it does in two on paper. thanks for pointing that out. ill have to at least check it out in CAD. nothing like building one and seeing it in person though!
