I finally got my G0514x2, and the first sets resawn with it were Black Walnut with sapwood on the back and sides. I cannot seem to decide which orientation of the sides looks better. Sapwood touching the top or back? WRC top, not sure on bindings yet. Any body have an opinion? Pictures?

Thanks as always

In general I would put the sap towards the soundboard.

i agree with alexandru. i think it looks cool when the body is bound with off cuts of the sides. so the top would get sapwood binding and the back would get the heartwood (is that what its called?) binding. just a simple side purfling for some definition.
